To upload an item, you have two options:
- Upload just you artistic work. In this case, just submit a file (reasonable size, pleae) with a screenshot and short description.
- Upload a complete, Fallout ready, file. First, you need to prepare everything. For art, that means taking ingame screenshots and packing .frm and readme.txt files together (use zip). For sound submissions, you should convert your work to ogg or mp3 respectively./li>
In both cases, always upload only a single item - e.g. a tree, or a chair (exception: wall / tile sets, furniture sets, etc., use your common sense). Never upload several items (many different trees, many different televisions, several guns) together. It may be easier, but it also makes browsing the repository and sorting the files almost impossible.
When you have your files prepared, upload them using "Create content" link, add a short description and select reasonable tags. For example, when you upload a new monster, it could be "Critter" for art type, "Creative Commons" as license and "mutant, big monster, biped" for Free tags.
Registered users can later edit their content, however, registration is not compulsory.
